WELCOME
Hope Of Joe is the God-inspired RESCUE MISSION calling and audacious belief in Jesus for that calling, that we can take the Gospel of Jesus, build meaningful relationships with underserved people groups all the while supporting existing church missions/perhaps mission trips in under privileged, under-served areas in need, generally only accessible by boat. All for the Glory of GOD: Father, Son, and Spirit.
YAHWEH !!
Hope Of Joe is a US-based Marine Christian charity organization. Providing resources beginning with established Christian missions in The Caribbean, Central, South America, then targeting the Philippines and other Pacific Islands, long-term; providing a safe home-away-from-home for organizations, supporting church mission trips, helping to plant churches, and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Made possible completely by our donors and sponsors. Praise God! Thank you.

Thank you.
Where possible, we will help provide/organize clean water to families without it (the San Blass Islands for example) and also provide a one-time, simple medication (yes, one dose) to get rid of parasites debilitating their children and the clean water will keep them that way.
*** This will be an Apostle Paul style ministry. Please feel free to ask on this. ***
Then, as situations make themselves evident, spearhead further needs (medical and dental, nutritional, housing, bibles in a particular language from One Hope, etc.) and alert those organizations we have partnered with that provide these services providing on-location guidance, communications and, accommodations.
Planting churches and bringing the Good News of the Bible to people groups that have never (or rarely) heard the name of Jesus. Probably since the Spanish adventurer, Captain Cook, first took the gospel to the South Pacific....100s of years ago.
A Rescue Mission as Christ came to Rescue us
First in North, Central and South America supporting already existing church missions/perhaps mission trips as we (and crew) get used to the vessel, shake down cruises and repairs, and then beyond, if it be God's will.
Misunderstanding this mission doesn’t change the reality of the need or the Great Commission....THE RESCUE.
Let me repeat: What one thinks of this vision of rescuing souls for eternity, or of helping those less fortunate doesn’t change their reality ...
... our hope and purpose is to change yours.

So let me educate you about our reality and God has qualified us for your support.
My bride and I live happily by choice, content with the moment and we are grateful every day for the decisions we've made and the lessons learned. Following the lessons of The Apostle Paul, we have learned to be content when flush and when not so. We abide in the joy of the Lord. We are content in Him.
We have partnered with every church we have been a part of over the last 25 years as we have moved around the country. Partnered in local missions, food drives, resource awareness, care teams and prayer teams. Home visitations (private and elderly), hospital visitations, serving communion, reading the Bible and discussions on what was read. We have continually kept ourselves plugged-in to bible studies and Disciple Groups to keep up our study and relationship with Jesus.
-- Milestone achieved -- Praise God !
As a child, until I was 20, my dad had a 60 foot power boat. We took a month off every summer, sometimes more. I was doing my 4-hour watch by the time I was 9-years old. Learned a ton from my dad as he taught me his Power Squadron navigation information he had learned.
Later, I resigned my college career position (dept. head of microbiology and special chemistries) "a Good Job" to start a business. For over 20-years, it provided well for me, my family and the crew. Employees bought it from me and I pursued other interests. I was able to buy an ocean-going sailboat. Got good, real good at ocean cruising and navigation => led to a God inspired USCG Master 100 Ton Captain's license, power and sail. Knowledge of the ocean, boats and business organization.
-- Milestone achieved -- Praise God !
In the early 1990s, my wife developed an autoimmune disorder, that triggered a liver disease that led to a liver transplant. A significant event!! Took most all our savings. Thank you Jesus for the abundance.
We discovered in 2018, that it was mostly due to the low-dose exposure over time to common household cleaners (toxins), cosmetics (heavy metals) and other personal and home-care products that trigger one's genes to switch on/off for most all disorders and disease you read about today.
Quite the chain reaction over time and preventable if one knows how (yes, you can ask and we will gladly share what we have learned).
I am a 4-year pre-med graduate, a 2-year masters in Laboratory Medicine graduate, and have read and studied everything I could (and can) on autoimmune, gut microbiome, the gut-brain connection, genomics, nutrition and food as medicine, and my bride's specific liver disease (PBC), etc., the latest research. I can engage in conversations with doctors on these issues with humbled confidence. In some cases, even educate them. Able to recognize health issues?
-- Milestone achieved -- Praise God !
My bride was educated at Westchester College in Pennsylvania in Education, yet eventually started her own business in Maine (where we met), and after 20-years sold her interests to a partner. She is knowledgeable in business organization, financial management, record keeping and has a gift from God...a softness in caring for people.

We do not write this to boast or to impress you, yet to impress upon you that we realize all these trials, challenges, and education have been training from The Almighty God (The Path) to be ready for this rescue calling that has been 8-years in the making, to date. We have been obedient in this pursuit.
With God opening doors, many doors along the way. Including an acceptance at Mayo Clinic Florida Transplant Department to help my bride. So we sold everything we owned, moved cross-country, and now she has a new birthday and is free from liver disease and doing very well after transplant and ready to begin this project. When it comes to softness in dealing with people, my bride is truly gifted and blessed. Praise God!
Yes, we are looking for contributions and investments, and YES we have a incentive plan for infusions at $50K, $100K and $250K, $500K, along with the tax deductions you will enjoy (check with your Tax Professional for how that is organized). There will be some experiences-of-a-lifetime for you and a guest at these levels.
And, of course, we have a gift for all donations, yet these 4 are necessary (key) to carry out the first 5-year plan as we will be purchasing all the equipment, and gathering all the resources as required, as well as hiring crew, food, fuel, supplies and logistics, etc. This is a major RESCUE effort for building the Kingdom of God and helping other people groups in need, especially in these current times. It is a 8-10-year plan.
2023/4 is the time!! The timeline is all created..
It has been 8-years since God gave this rescue calling and waiting, learning patience and endurance......Obedience !
The initial funding phase is $3 Million for the first year, $5 Million for the next 5 years, or $10-$15 Million ($20 Million would be better) for the full 8-10-years and more. And the goal is to give most of it away in Christian/Humanitarian services, local services and relief.
Please read About Us for more info.
